Have you experienced the HTTP 404 error when your browsing the net. This error shows when you type the correct domain but the extension url is not found or have been remove. For example your typing
www.knowils.com/p/mony.html, you can see an HTTP 404 error because the
mony.html are not found in that website. This error may loss some of your precious visitor. But you can customized the error message to lead your visitor to one of your page or offer something. You can an html code to the 404 error message to make it flavorful.
This is how to customized the HTTP 404 error message on blogger.
1. Log-in to your blogger account > click your blog
2. Navigate to
Setting > Search preferences
3.
On error and redirection section Click edit on
Custom Page Not found
4. Then type the message you want or your html code on that box then Save changes.
In this example I just edit the plain message. You can experiment your html message to make it catchy or change the font, background of that message.
