How to Upgrade to Windows 10 without waiting on your queue.(Not using the media creation tool)

I just upgrade my windows 8.1 to windows 10 without waiting, I reserved my my slot a month ago but I don't have patience to wait, because Microsoft doesn't give exact time for your upgrade. My impatience point me to an article of  Brien Posey on redmondmag.com explains the trick for forcing upgrade.

This tricks works only if you already reserved.

This is how to force upgrade to Windows 10.

1. Navigate to c:>windows > SoftwareDistribution>Download

And delete all files and folder on that Download folder.

2. Then open the command prompt by browsing c:> windows > system32 then run the cmd.exe

On Command Prompt type Wuauclt.exe /updatenow

3. Then go to Control Panel > System and Security click on Windows update.

You can see if the windows 10 download is started, sometimes it takes a minute before the download start.

If unsuccessful repeat step 1,2 and 3.

When the download complete install the windows 10.

Goodluck!
